Handmade nut / walnut cracker bowl with mallet with beautiful grain. The bowl and the mallet are turned by hand on a woodturning lathe. They are made using bowl and detail gouges and then they are finished with extra virgin olive oil. The olive wood has been collected locally from Crete island in Greece. It is a hard, strong wood with rich color that is prized all around the world for its appearance. It usually has many curly grains with a contrast of colors from beige to golden brown and to dark brown. The grain from piece to piece can be completely different but we always choose the most beautiful ones for you!

The diameter is 16cm and the height 7cm.

For shipping we try to be as environmentally friendly as we can. The item will be packaged in a sustainably sourced box, using wood shavings from the lathe as a cushion for safe transport. The box and the shavings are biodegradable.

It is advised that the bowl is kept out of direct sunlight, and away from heat and water sources . This will ensure longevity of the product.

The kitchen items come with detailed preservation instructions.
